Yep, f***ing interfering busy-bodies who had no part in the sale whatsoever contacted the seller and told him it was worth more so he renegged on the deal. Similar thing happened with a huge lot of MOCs that Darren on SWCC was trying to buy last year.
The seller clearly hasn't paid £££ for it and is happy to let it go. The whole joy of collecting is finding grails like this for pennies. If people whistleblowed on my transactions, I would certainly never own own half my MOCs. What would be the point in collecting?
There will always be people that are prepared pay more for an item but see it late that try their luck and there will always be people that just like to get involved for no other reason than to stir things.
Telling people their already sold items should have sold for more or are worth more is pretty bad form and is on par with muscling in on a done deal.
Happens in all walks of life though and in most hobbies, **** stirrers and people without any care for anyone else but themselves populate this world in abundance.

My post was just a general "the world is full of tossers" rant as we don't know why he contacted the seller however if Seerdrakon has tried to wangle the Anakin from him then my rant is aimed at him :lol:
(Although..I can't off the top of my head think of why anyone would contact the seller to ascertain whether or not this was the real deal or not as we already know he didn't have the foggiest, surely the best person to answer that question is the buyer..in which case you wait for feedback to be left and contact them...)

I know it was just a general rant Joe but in this case the seller obviously felt he had sufficient grounds to label it a reseal. I for one would like to know why. Not so much so that I would contact him but just out of curiosity. We really don't know the facts here at all. Hell the buyer might even have convinced him it was a recard. I very much doubt it and would hope not but god knows mate. crazier stuff has happened.
Then wait for the transaction to be complete and contact both the buyer and the seller. You wish to know on a whim. To the buyer, this could be the defining moment in his collecting. Know what I'm saying?

I agree too guys, honestly I do. I'm just trying to contextualise drakons possible motives for asking. I am certainly not advocating ruining a deal. I have already said that I would not be contacting the seller. I think contacting the seller is never a good idea but I am just saying let's not slam drakon just yet as we don't know what has been said in any of the conversations.

Well if by contacting him he wishes to inform him of how he got ****ed on the price...or does he still have because he could give him more cash...then I would say thats just being a plain asshole....but I will wait...I am in a "Holding" pattern as of current. :lol:

If it is the real deal, I sort of feel bad for the seller too. He didn't have to put up a BIN price though.

Oh and he never replied....he had some very rare pieces that were put up in less then a few hours. I mean who puts up an Anakin and a three pack in the same day? Both sold for great prices.
