Banging Tunes & your music likes thread

Bummed on tour? Thanks for the heads up, PC- I had no idea. Last time I saw them was in their 'The Rave Is On' days.

What an album. And sumptuous graphics by Central Station Design:

Apologies, Edd- it's not porn, it's art. Honest.

Here's a rather decent nightcap... enjoy:

the delightful ep is superb. loads of em pop up on ebay.
I much prefer the earlier guitar based Mondays stuff.

Olive Oil and Oasis are cracking tunes

This performance by Nik Kershaw and his 'dancing girls' is PURE 80'S - look at the dancers and what they are wearing - screams 80's at you!

Nice synth electro track too

Well, my tastes are very varied, and a reflection that I'm an old git, but have a listen

Got to say though, Tupac is the D B s for me, poetry in its true form 8) the guy was simply genius.

Some good ones there.
Although I really wasn't expecting the Sex pistols to follow Earth wind and fire!

That's cos I'm an old git who's formative years were through disco, punk, and new romantic

Loved the pistols though...opening riff is awesome. Was into punk with safety pin through the ear and red spikes hair, BOY petrol blue bondage kex, Red DMs and a Destroy shirt ( bought them fro Malcom Mac s Sex shop in London...those were the days

Few more...best till last

Love the Roses....what an intro this is

Hard to pick just one MJ classic

The man

Tupac s IMO best album...me against the world
Love it, before all the death row and Biggie shite kicked in, his lyrics are the best, pure poetry

Sit back, chill and listen

Yes just got tickets to see PE again in a very small club in Brighton in June...

Saw them last November in the Brighton Dome. We were all outside the club after outside a pub drinking and the whole crew came out past the pub to their hotel and hung out for photos with everyone.

I've seen plenty of the old guys when the come through De La & PE were the only two who still put on a good show, The Pharcyde last year was one of the worst shows I have seen ever.

PE have another two more small venue dates so far in Leamington Spa & Lowestoft???? I advise anyone to check them out well worth the £25 ticket

De La Soul are doing Manchester academy in May I think 8)
