I have rather eclectic tastes in music, too... not quite sure what you will think of this offering of mine, but on a day like today, when work has been rubbish and you finally get home and crack open a beer... a spot of Sigur Rós always gives me that uplifting feeling. Reykjavík's finest, in my humble opinion

The new found love of dance music in the US or EDM as it seems to have been rebranded is very amusing to watch.
As watching the video channels as I do with my kids it seems to have infiltrated everything over there.

Molly this Molly that....

Sorry June not a fan of Tiesto's version of Adagio For Strings, give me the Ferry Corsten Mix anyday

But agree with you on Neneh Cherry - Buffalo stance, blast from the past or what, still feels really fresh and modern in a way, but back when originally released 89/90?? was so RAWWW 8) 8)

Like Sushi?

Great choice of track, June- brings back some great memories. Me and a bunch of mates went to see Tim Simenon and Bomb The Bass live in Leeds back in... '89, I think it was. Neneh Cherry was support, along with her manic backing singers :D we managed to blag our way back to the band's hotel and had a great night all cramped in the one room- drink was flowing and the tunes were pumping!

..and from the same era, around 1988:

This was the best of all the Acid Trax from back in the day, in my opinion. I still crank up the gramophone and blast this out when I'm in the mood.

A true delight to be enveloped by the onslaught of ever cascading 303 squiggles emanating from this piece of vinyl, booming around The Haçienda. Happy days, indeed :D

Paul, that Morillo track is going down nicely this evening; especially after one or two beers already consumed. Cracking stuff.

Mike, I'm eager to hear your Fac 51 offering- but it appears the link you provide declares "video:deleted". Funny to think we might have been in the same venue at the same time, some 30-odd years ago. We used to have a shandy in the pub opposite the club on Whitworth Street (can't remember what it was called), in the hope that the queue would die down... two hours later, we were further back than if we had joined the vying throng upon first arriving

And as an antidote to all this high rated BPM shenanigans, you've always got to have a 'at peace with one's self at the end of the night' track... and here was (and still is), mine: legs outstretched at Cafe Del Mar... sure beats working:

You boys should pop round mine I have all the Bunnymen albums on vinyl and a shitload of factory lps & 12s. A personal favourite being the Mondays who are touring the Bummed album
at the moment. Love to see it but just done £300 on Taylor Swift tickets for my little girls for Christmas

Personal favourite

That's the thing with kids, but remember, the bands they see now are formative in their music choice of years to come, and we all make mistakes ( Taylor Swift  ) then again I saw Cliff Richard at a gospel concert ...oh dear

Awesome PC....remember buying the EP delightful

Bummed and pills n thrills..top notch

I don't have any vinyl...it all got thrown  by my parents when I got married, had some cool stuff from my punk years, picture disks all sorts of gear...was gutted years later when I found out they had dumped it all
