Have been trying to find a thread on here or RS about badly printed cardbacks - a mate has an ESB Tusken with a blurred back (printing is blurred) - I have seen them before and am 100% sure they are legit but can't find a thread about them (which I am sure exists)

Anyone else have one of these or can find said thread ?

I have seen a few of these over the years Iain, being sold on ebay. Often with a strange red/green sort of shadow blurry bit around everything. Some I've seen people have even mentioned it in the listing as some sort of misprint etc.

That's the ones

Ive seen cards like this not too dissimilar to 3d pictures from the 80s where you had to wear red green glasses. The cardbacks had a Red green blue hue around the text and image

I have one of these. The card front is perfect, but the rear is slightly blurred / less sharp, especially on the text. I am happy the card is genuine, but the rear is definitely less than you'd expect / want it to be.

I've got a 21 back with a blurry rear and a Palitoy 12 back where both sides aren't lined up perfectly with an overlap. I'm pretty convinced both are genuine.

I have a tri logo wicket like that. It's almost like the old 3D images on the back of cereal packets.

There are quite a few Trilogo cards out there that made it out like this, some worse than others:

It's a registration issue that can happen during the printing process when each layer is not lined up precisely.

I used to own this Luke Bespin that had a red line across the middle of the card:
