Backwards Jabbas

Does anyone know anything about backwards Jabbas, e.g. like this (sorry to out a live auction):

Is it simply a standard one with his head ripped off and put back on? Only wondering but I've tried to pull the head off a non-armed beater of mine but I must be a weakling as I can't get it off. Any explanations?

I have seen them facing both ways (am sure I have both somewhere) - it is probably just a different production company
