Avoid seller 192035derek

Just posted this on RS so thought i better put it here too

I recently bought a Han Hoth/Admiral Ackbar Two pack from 192035derek, (after Mike Scards had already returned it once because the bubble was significantly cracked).

192035derek assured me that only no crack was large enough to insert a blaster into the bubble (the two pack came with weapons), so I bought the card at what I thought was a fair price for a slightly damaged card.

The card arrived and the top was ripped and had been touched up with pen (conveniently cropped from the item photo) and the bubble had separated from the card, so much that you culd almost pull Ackbar out.

When I asked for a refund including return postage, I was told that I could have a full refund but no return postage as I was rude

I've returned the card, 192035derek acknowledged the return but will not refund my paypal payment until he has sold other items on ebay (although he will send a cheque )

Please beware of this sellers auctions and when the Han Hoth two pack is relisted, please bid with caution

The joker even threatened me with libel when I called him a scam artist

Bad luck Spoons. I guessed he'd be a bit dodgy from the way his photos and descriptions are done. Make sure you can still bang a paypal claim in and that it doesn't time out.

I purchased an 20bk r5-d4 from him ex condition mint bubble when i recieved it the card was creased dirty and faded and the bubble was totally mangled and crushed note this was nothing to do with the posting as it was really well packed!

i pursued for a refund and he was rude as **** and offered a cheque but i ****ed him up with t+c's about paypal and buyer protection so he agreed to refund by paypal. 2 weeks later still (item had been sent back via tracked delivery straight away) and still no refund as he said he didn't know how to send payments. At that point i check mated him by open a dispute and advised it can only be closed by him by clicking issue refund if he didn't do this i would esculate to a claim this finally made him cave in and i finally got my money back.

Sorry to hear that spoons. Crazy when sellers think just by not mentioning flaws or cropping them out of photos that folks won't make a fuss on receipt. Another one on my list of sellers to avoid.

I couldn't believe when he threatened me with a solicitor because I said he'd cropped the photo. As though that would make me accept his crap goods :roll:

I would have kept it just for the character combo if he'd given me a partial refund but he wasn't interested.
