Hi, we got an AT AT walker for xmas, but it came without the chin and side guns. We have found some replacement guns on the internet. When I try to fit the side guns it looks like there is a bit missing. We still have the clear plastic bit sticking out of the side of the head but the guns have sticky out bits too, so its like trying to joint 2 male parts together. Looks like there should be a collar or something to connect the 2 pieces together.
Does anybody understand what I mean or do I need to take a picture?

I think I understand, there is no collar but the clear guns click into runners under the chin.

Are you sure you have the vintage at at?

Its not the chin guns, they haven't arrived yet. Its the side guns that I am having trouble with.

I don't understand then. The side guns just have a stem that slots into the side of the head. Pics may help

Have the old guns snapped off in the holes?

On second thoughts the only clear plastic on the vintage at at are the chin guns, I think you probably have the reissue

Doesn't look like anything has snapped off. I'll take some pics then all will become clear.

Pics attached with comments. See what you think.

Ian's right you need a set of modern side guns. They are tubular and fire a grey missile - very different from the vintage

Thank you. That explains everything.
So what do the modern guns look like?
Anybody got a picture?

My kids have got one and I'll take a pic later, but you could always google 'hasbro at at' but there are two different modern ones
