Wow those airbrushed action figure drawings are amazing, I used to do a fair bit of airbrushing, lot's of hours spent cutting frisket masks.

Love the Luke Bespin watercolour too, brilliant!

This is one I completed yesterday and one I wish I'd never had the opportunity to do. Little blokes name is Cooper, he's terminally ill with brain cancer and isn't expected to make it til September. 6yrs old, **** you cancer!

As you can see he's a huge Captain America fan, managed to get a whole bunch of cartoonists here in Australia to do him a quick Cap America drawing so hopefully it will lift his spirits a little when he gets them.

Mike you couldn't be more correct mate, so easy to get caught up in how unfair you think your own life is until you see someone like this having to face an unimaginable illness as such a tender age. Really feel for his parents too, truly devastating.

When they found out it was inoperable they packed up a their car and hit the road determined to show their son the sights of Australia before he became too ill to travel. That's how we found out about him as one of my wife's work mates met them whilst on holidays. The little lads probably lived more in the past 8 months then some adults I've met have lived in their entire lives.

Here's a pic of Cooper with his caricature all framed up, poor little dudes all swollen and wheel chair bound now. If it doesn't break your heart you aint got one..

I also decided to add to the original which includes his parents as they are just as big a hero to him as he is to them.

Sorry to put a downer on things but this little fella unfortunately lost his battle with Brain Cancer Yesterday, brave little bloke. Amazing how someone you've never even met can affect you so profoundly. RIP Captain Cooper.

Branching out is going well Mike! Good effort there pal. Border looks tricky. No idea how you would improve it without the use of paints.

It was never going to be a work of art :? A rustic rendition is what I call it :wink:

I don't want to go down the route of precise facsimile so the stuff I attempt will always be free looking and " organic"
God loves a trier
