Are Yellow Bubbles more prone to problems and how less desirable do they make the item to a collector?

Like you say it's just physics... why can't someone just invent a lightbulb that turns them clear? Seems pretty simple to me?

1. I am not the authorities. That would be the moderators and edd. I have never claimed to be such.

2. I don't have it In for this new member. What I did was express an opinion on grading, which you didn't seem to like, lindo, and if you try to pick me up on something I feel I have a justified reason to base my opinion on, then I am going to argue that point. I seem to remember the best you could offer was "pffft". It's an open forum where ideas and opinions may be discussed.

3. The guy was given a load of advice on his other thread. Good advice from other members. Why does he need to keep asking the same question, which is what this is. How many threads do you want him/her to create asking the same things?

4. 5 posts in. Who is this valuable new member? No introduction, no posts on any other threads. Just questions on how to maximise a return on buying a moc and how to buy one.

Facebook garners massive criticism for driving up prices, ignorant people posting stupid questions and greed driving the market. These are things I feel are ruining the hobby, and I know Danny will agree with me there. I read threads like this and just get deja vu.

Honestly, what reasonable individual asks a question about what % of desirability will a yellow bubble reduce value by and how much value will it take off? What happened to people collecting for the love of collecting or having any kind of affinity with the items they are collecting?

Totally agree with Ben.

The new member has so far proved to have added no value, they've made no interaction, no introduction, we've no idea of their name, no idea what they collect, why they collect it or what (other than making money) their aspirations are. They so far and only seems to care about the value of items with regard to selling them, not even regards to collecting them.

I'd be first to welcome them and interact with them IF they would first make an introduction or share something about their interest in the hobby; outside of profiting from it.

As for the replies from Lindo, seriously get over yourself and grow up, you owe Ben and in my opinion, the forum an apology for such a petulant attack with no real basis for defence. Ben spoke his mind in relation to the questions being asked, you clearly disagree, but can't summon a reasoned argument, so start swearing... Beyond embarrassing.

I feel the OP had been given great advice on the previous thread. But it did come across that he/she was asking a very similar question as before on this thread. Maybe they will soon be back, I do hope these questions wer not for the purpose of getting the reactions which are now unfolding among us.

Firstly Savoury take your tongue out of his ass, his replies to this new member have been nothing but sarcastic, I apologise when I'm wrong and I'm not so I won't, thought this forum was meant to be a welcoming place, this valuable new member as it's been put hasn't contributed anything, well he ain't likely to hang around to do that is he with sarcastic comments coming his way!

Not surprised to see you can't spell (or maybe read, the two could be linked), maybe try brushing up on that before trying to communicate outside of the playpen?

I have to say that I actually contacted Ben the other day when I noticed he'd taken some time to write up an answer to this new member. For me I can't help but think that this is Kennerfan (or whatever his name was), from a few months ago who caused a big scene on here. The way these questions have been asked, especially all the Toy Toni questions makes me very suspicious and if I'm wrong then I'm happy to apologies but after seeing this latest question that's been asked I get the feeling I maybe right.

There seems to be enough other members on this thread who have also noticed the lack of information from this member and we may well be all part of some sort of boring game.

Happy New Year!

Ian

I have also been thinking that over the last few weeks from a few new members questions. I will also apologise if I am mistaken. Its just the way the questions keep popping up with a similar trend.

Nah that guy is alltooeasy.

I have nothing to add that hasn't been said but I'm with Ben on this one.

Happy new year Shaggs!

That was one of his names but I'm pretty sure that member was banned and then a similar style name turned up who was the same person. This may have even happened a few times and I can't help but feel that this thread is of a similar flavor, maybe, maybe not.

typical arsehole response

Got to pick you up on something there Lindo.

Reread the origional thread feller.

I was not sarcastic to the op. I offered an opinion on grading which you took umbridge to. I was not actually sarcastic to green crossbow till this thread popped up, and for the reasons I have given in this thread, which you may or may not think fair, but hey, that's life.

So I don't think your statement that I was sarcastic to the op is fair or correct, and that is the only point I am going to make.

Hi

Will a yellow bubble be more prone to problems (bubble cracking or bubble lifting) than a clear transparent one?

in % terms how much of a negative to a collector is a yellow bubble, how much does it devalue the figure by and is it difficult to resell?

Thank you for your time.

The yellowing bubble will last approximately 7 years 49 days 11 hours and 32 minutes before falling off the card, and then turning to dust on the floor, from the first day yellowing is seen.

It is precisely 37.5082% more of a negative to 135% of collectors, devalues the figure by exactly £159.45 and makes it 56/100 to resell.

Hope that helps.
lol

Again, reread the origional thread.

That's not this this thread, that's the other one. The one that came first, where you seemed to get a big hard on about something. You remember don't you, the one where the best you could offer was "pffft". Not the one where you managed "lol"

**** me, he asked a question about grading, then you comment on how **** it is (pretty much) I said not helpful, then you started being a clever dick, then he posted this thread where you start being sarcastic , I then comment about how welcome you have made this guy feel so everything I have said is accurate, you bring up the last thread about pfft etc which I put cause I could not be bothered with your bullshit, hence the get ****ed comment. All in all you have ruined this guys thread when he has asked valid questions because you are trying to be clever and tbh I think you have made yourself look like a twat, so I say again get ****ed!

Come on guys, let it go.

No need for all the insults and name calling, it sucks to see members talking to each other like ****..especially at this time of year. Lindo, I appreciate you don't like how some people are talked to but there are ways of discussing these things and insulting people one post after another isn't the way to do it.

For those that may not be aware..SWF is well known for being a forum that is home to members that do not tolerate bullshit, collect for the love of collecting and could care less about money or AFA. Sometimes it goes too far, sometimes it's warranted but it should always be expected because 99% of the people on here feel exactly the same about those that come along blabbering about investments and grading (or any other touchy subject).

On the upside, SWF is a forum full of passionate collectors who care about collecting and about each other.

Peace for 2017? You know you all want to kiss and make up .. (no tongues though)
