I have no evidence except watched ebay auctions, Facebook and forum prices, but in getting the distinct impression that prices are starting to lower.

Can anyone back me up or blow my post to pieces with hard stats??

I hope so pal.

I know what i'll do, i'll ask a trusted seller.

So FuzzyBuzzy what kind of prices are you selling your wares for at moment?

Not seen any mass sell offs yet and most of the stuff I see in completed listings seems "normal" (as in pretty high compared to a couple of years ago). I don't think we will see any kind of change until either just before the movie or just after..should be interesting.

When I posted earlier I forgot about this guy selling up: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/6969daily/m.html?item=201299230673&hash=item2ede5e7fd1&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc

I felt the ending prices were pretty high on most of his figures although I guess that was all down to condition/grade.

Really not sure if prices are still rising across the board Fuzzy but I'm still seeing weird spikes on common carded stuff (especially on eBay). Another thing I noticed is whenever people list pieces on FB for quite high prices (or at least prices that I personally consider to be high) they seem to be sold within hours!

I was watching a pop-up R2 on ebay last night, saber had a few marks on the tip but it only fetched £88 !!

He's made some money recently. Over a £1000 for a 21 back Luke farmboy?

I think it's fair to say prices are still rising/high, but that doesn't mean there aren't bargains to be had. The same rule always applies - put in the effort and you will find bargains. There will always be idiots paying mega bucks for 12 backs or vinyl cape Jawas, any hobby with large sums of money involved will attract lazy people that want it all now and are willing to pay for it.

A trilogo Luke Bespin sold for £50 on eBay last week, they haven't had a market value that low for 20 years!

This post pretty much sums it up for me at the moment, spot on.

Wouldn't have thought so? Good value can still be found if you are wlling to put in a bit of time searching, however it's getting more and more frustrating trying to unearth bargains :(

After what I've seen on eBay over the last 3 days I think the answer to that question is definately NO. Just wait until the trailer drop at the beginning of next month. I predict it's going to go to another level.

I'd love to tell you your wrong, but sadly I think your prediction is 100% currect

I did want a dark brown hoth rebel soldier until I saw that!

The pink face is cheaper really, but also high end. This white face is almost impossible to find, so the price reflects that.

I have a pink face one, found in a lot recently for only 80€, but I was really lucky!
What freaks me... Still three to go as there are four different dark brown Rebel Soldier variants. :?

And looking at this auction, I won't reach that goal in the near future.
