A neutral feedback is now classed the same as a negative or maybe slightly better. I have had ONE neutral in the last 12 months and this has chnaged my feedback from 100 percent to 98.3 percent wjhich is so annoying considering i've never had any negatives at all. I sent them an email and this was their reply below:
"Hello, Thank you for your email. I understand you're concerned about your current feedback score. As per our recent updates, the percentage of positive feedback will now include neutral feedback. The basic line is "neutral is not positive" and that the positive percentage is now finally what it should have beenall along: the percentage of all Feedback that is positive. Furthermore, we calculate your Feedback percentage on the basis of the last 12 months of trading, as we feel that this is enough to give a clear picture of a members' history. The percentage score is based on unique transactions over the last 12 months. It's the number of positiveratings, divided by the number of positive, negative and neutral ratings. For example, let's say you've received 1000 positive comments, 3 neutralones and 4 negatives for unique transactions in the last 12 months. Yourfeedback percentage will be calculated as follows: FB % = 1000 / (1000 + 3 + 4) = 99.3% positive. What are unique transactions? Repeat Feedback ratings count towards members' Feedback scores, providedthe transactions ended in a separate week. For Feedback, eBay defines a week as Monday-Sunday, Pacific Time. Similarly, repeat Feedback ratings from the same member will count towards your Feedback percentage, provided the transactions ended in a separate week.
