Just booked up a little boys trip for a long weekend to the Alps. Anyone else on here ride??

I Ski but not snowboard, never tried snowboarding although a couple of the guys that come with us snowboard.
Ski or snowboard it's just simply awesome.
Earlier this year i went to Bansko in the Jan and then Austria in the Feb.

This year we have booked Austria again in March, and are looking at France for early Feb - can't wait 8)

I wish :D

Skateboarded as a young un, have always had

Snowboarding, parachute and swim with sharks on the bucket list

Yeah i'm a boarder, but not been since the arrivable of our little lad, 3 years and missing it madly :(

Used to...a lot! Done a lot of the alps. But since my two little boys have come along I haven't done any.

Sold my two boards to fund my bicycle obsession. I had a Burton Dominant for Jib and rails (which I was truly rubbish at) and a long super stiff K2 nemesis for riding powder and off piste, which was what I really enjoyed.

I've still got my boots which I'm holding onto in desperate hope that I get to go with the lads when they are a bit older.

Where you off to?

We're off to Avoriaz, been there a few times when working with O'Neill on their Pro Freestyle event.

First time in a while since I've been money, kids etc. Still skating loads so hopefully I won't spend too long on my arse.

Nice! not done Avoriaz. Whats the Apres like?...after all thats the most important part. :D

For me nothing beats Val'disere. Still the best Pistes and Apres, just the Transfer is a royal PITA!

Yeah I used to, lived in Hokkaido for two years and got spoiled by epic amounts of pow! Not been for a few years though. It starts getting expensive when you have to fly to another country

Can't help with the bindings I'm afraid sold them when I flogged my boards.

But I do have a mint condition Burton Wheelie Board bag if your interested. Get your board, boots and all your kit in it.

I used to do it alot, got pretty good as well, broke my heel in '02, got back on the board until '05, moved around a bit and
then I got a nerve damage in 07, haven't been able to since then... Miss it bigtime...

Got some alright pics though, here's one from '01:

Awesome Tundra, nice bit of "styling" 8) Shaun White better Watch out :D (is he still even around?) I was more of a Travis Rice and Mark Frank Montoya fan myself.

This is me cutting a nice off-piste line on a blue sky powder day a few years back in Chamonix. Happy Days :D

Awesome. I really wish i was a good enough skier to sample some off piste action like that.

I did a bit of really tame off piste in Bansko but need a few more years under my belt before i can move onto the steeper stuff :)
