anyone running a Q6600 cpu and motherboard?

im running a SOCKET A rig!!! its like a dinasaur

thinking of a Q6600 quad setup...

anyone running one? want to know how they run


this is my current rig

it has a laptop cpu in it cranked upto 2.3gig

I have one in combination with an Asus P5K motherboard. Runs like a charm overclocked at 3 Ghz.

thats ddr2 or 3?

my pc is a athon-M a stepping 1.8gig overclocked to 2.3gig sits about 40 degrees so aint too bad

it still runs most appz but struggles on newer games,

u clocked your ram timings too?

DDR2 1066, no RAM adjustments necessary. Temperatures never higher than 40 degrees Celsius. The Q6600 is well known to be very easly to overclock.
