At training tonight, one of the wee lads was telling me about a thing him and mate do at school (don't get excited Han! :lol: ).
APPARENTLY, there is a code you can put into any drinks vending machine, that allows you to get your money back. Well, it allows you to get as much money out as you can.
I'm not sure of the 'in's and out's' of it, but he reckons you type in this code then press the refund button and it gives you money.
He claimed they tried it today and it worked (need a suspicious icon here).

Normally I wouldn't believe a story like that (and I took his with a huge pinch of salt) but he's not the sort of kid who lies or makes something like that up. Anyone heard of any scheme like it?

He said his mate found the code on the net, and that there is a similar one for food/sweets machines.

I was pretty sceptical when I heard it, but like I said, he's not the sort of kid who goes about making things like that up. Far too quiet and introverted. I'll see if I can get him to rob a vending machine next time I see him! :lol:

i did hear of a code but it was years ago..(dont know what it was) and iam not sure if it was a urban myth.. anyway can you lot remember the cook book, it told you loads of stuff like that and how to make homemade bombs out of sugar and weedkiller etc....

i might see if i can get hold of a copy, in 1990 -4 it was on the lips of most of the kids in my area, it even made the news......it was banned and if you had a copy (and you were caught ) you got in serious ****..

it told you how to make stuff of of household items (most of it from hardware stores) all the ingredients were legal but when mixed they where ilegal...

iam sure it told you how to make LSD, pipe bombs, it also showed you differnen scams etc..... 8) :roll:

can anyone find evidence of its existance on the net ??

when we were 14/15 we could tap pay phones recievers so many times and get Ã'£60+ credit .every pay phone in village had a gang of kids round .if someone came to use phone we just told them to press follow on call instead of hanging up so we didnt have to tap it again

I tryed the old trick off cutting the wire from the sky box to the phone line and then connect it to a wee square battery. You can get free pay per view up to Ã'£36. Am to scared now to connect it back up to phone line in case i get charged

We just used to stick our arms up in the opening of the Soda machines and pull out free ones...Gotta be carefull as the cooling fan can cut you
