I posted this over on RS but I reckon you guys are more likely to remember or have attended :
I used to visit the Enfield Pageant almost every year from a child into my teens with my Father and there was ALWAYS the same stall set out with loads and loads of vintage star wars toys.
It was here that I first bought figures and through the years I built up my loose childhood collection by delving into boxes of loose figures and trying to find one I either didn't have or one that looked interesting (I was collecting long before I even saw the films!)
It would be really cool if any of the UK guys remembered this show or even attended and remembered the dealers/stalls that were there every single year.
For a motor show it had some great toy stalls! (From the moment we arrived I used to run to find a toy stall in amongst the hundreds of auto jumble + bootsale crap that was there!)
Wish I had some pictures from those times! I remember buying an ewoks battle wagon, taking it back to our Van , spinning it around the field and then thinking "this is a [censored] toy" so I took it back to the stall mentioned and they swapped it for an X-wing! Awesome !
