Is there a place for collecting badges in SW theme?

I have the modern set of E1 badges but have a couple of earlier ones, just got me thinking, were there a decent range of badges brought out, and are they collectible :?:

It was just general as I didn't know what vintage badges were out there to collect, and what sort of price ranges they are, which are the hard to find ones

Like I say just wondered if they were collectible

Ill do some googling

Cheers :D

There's not a major collectors market for them, Star Wars wise. There a plenty vintage ones (especially factors) that were some of the earliest collectables that go really cheap.

Some foreign vintage badges are a lot rarer and can fetch a lot more considering its just a badge.

I collect charity badges and coins. Check out my collection here....

Cheers for the advice buddy :D

I have one or two old SW badges in my collection. Just there cos they fill a space. Not really into badges

Funny you should start this topic. I picked these up a couple of weekends ago at a flea market. I doubt they are official, but they are old as you don't see badges like this anymore.

They are both official.

The small red one is from the UK.

The blue one is made by factors and was one of the first licenced products to hit the stores.

There great fun to collect and most of these can be picked up for pennies. You can add to your collection when figure droughts are on without breaking the bank.

Bugger me, the patches are nice
Another line to look for, great idea though, like you say if there is a figure drought or a money drought, still get the fix
Really like the patches, reminds me of my old Denim Wrangler many, many years ago :?
