If I'm remembering right, this set came from Canada and had 12 carded figures inside. I know I have seen some other pictures of the set. I'll see if I can track them down.

So it was a box with all the carded figs in it. Thanks Shawn. No anyone who actually owns this??

I vaguely remember seeing it on a Canadian collectors site. I just now found This one which shows both sides of the box and the 9 pack box as well. I remember seeing a limelight or site though a few years ago that showed all sides of the box and the figures inside. Hopefully I can find it again. Other than that, I don't know of anyone owning one.

Aye it was available in Canada, exclusive to Sears :)
Jeremy Beckets book has a pic of it in it!
As Todd says the figures all came carded, on 20 bk cards, although it is believed some may have been 12bk's

now that is an awsome item , even more if you would have the 9 serie aswell

, bet ya a lot of people that had this , sold everything seperatly at one time

leaving not many around, well that's the only reason i can think off why this is so rare

I imagine if parents bought them they would have been opened and the box binned. If the store had some they had problems selling they probably opened the boxes and shifted the figures seperately, sadly again box gets binned.

The best hope I can think of is a child using the box to store his figures in once he opened them.

Those 12 packs are out there but in very small numbers. I think there are a few graded examples under the radar. I was quoted between $10000 / $20000 for an AFA 85 a few months back when I asked a few questions about them. Way out of my league. Its a Canadian piece but I could be wrong.

Grant.
