Hey Jeff, I love the A-Team figures one of my favourite shows as a kid but never had the toys. I had a collection of these a while back but sold off all of my non SW stuff to concentrate on completing my loose set.

Don't have any pics but here's a Youtube vid I uploaded way back when which shows all the various lines I used to collect. Haven't waqtched this vid in ages sort of sad looking back. Miss the SuperPowers stuff the most.

Awesomesauce Ryan! Love the Fonzie!! 8)

I've never had any A-team figs, but if I would get some I'd go for the 6inch ones, the 3 3/4 inch just looks like
bad g.i.joe knock offs! :p

I think Mumbo had these as a kid, with the A team van too (looked good but **** wheels)...

I have got the bigger version of MR T if you want him Jeff, on the house for you. If you want it just drop me a PM...

Yeah I regret selling a lot of that stuff Jorn, as cool as Fonzie was Mego really didn't do him justice with that figure and the bike you could get for him gave lame a new name

I agree with the smaller A-Team figures they were pretty poor on the detail side and their limbs where very easily broken, whats with having them all dressed in generic jump suites? The Larger figures where much better but still had an awkwardness to them. The proportion just wasn't there. Best items in the A-team set where Faces Corvette and the Plastic version of their van for the smaller figures. I believe there was a larger van made from diecast which didn't look anything like the screen version save for a red stripe down the side.

That's bloody generous of you Jr!! 8) You'll do well to put the large Mr-T in your collection Jeff it's a cool peice and one I never got round to grabbing.

Whatchyoutalkinboutfool!

I have a few pieces some minty loose 6 inch figs a 12" talking MRT, also got the van for the 6inch figs somewhere but its seen better days
I also have a A-Team boxed 3d Viewmaster which is currently on the Bay if youre interested.

They bring back some memories :D

Had the figures and van, I did love that set and remember playing with them more than I can remember about sw :) the van took a right beating recreating all those stunts if I remember correctly, no chance that was ever going to survive my childhood.

Thanks for posting :)

Also that set of 6inch figure were given away at Wimpy restaraunts back in the day where we lived

Not too generous Ryan, I got him for £1 at a bootsale thinking he might get a tenner on eBay, no such luck... eBay has loads of 'em not even selling.

Er cough cough, sorry Jeff what I mean't is that these are very bloody rare, the DT Bens of the A-team world...

great video Ryan.... :D

Thanks for the kind offer JC....pm on the way....

I agree, the 6" galoob figures were way better, I just picked up these 4 as a bargain the other day and thought that there may be some other A Team collectors on here.

I will get a few pictures of my 6" MOC A-Team figure collection asap.....on that note I am looking for a MOC BA Baracus/ Mr T figure if anyone has one?

Cheers Jeff
:D

cool vid dude. Loads of things in there that take me back.

I had the MASK buggy that you showed near the end. My A-Team van got well abused. It must have been thrown down the stairs like a hundred times.

Love the Knight Rider car and figure. Considering that many of the items were run of the mill toys back in the 80's weren't they awesome? Toys for kids now are crap. Our two just buy rubbish, except for the Star Wars. I try and steer them towards the modern figures which are quite decent for kids 8)

Great figures there Jeff 8)

Funny I always remember seeing once and only once a carded Amy Allen Galoob figure in John Menzies in the mid eighties and thinking never seen her before, always saw the others. Could kick myself as at the time I did think it must be quite rare and nearly bought it.

The villains are quite hard to find as well.

Thanks...as I say I will get a few shots of my moc up asap....Amy Allen is quite hard to find alright for decent money.....BA moc is also tricky, I'm finding anyway

As promised a couple of pics of the 6" Galoob Baddies, MOC
Python, Cobra, Rattler and Viper..... 8)

That Baddie with the green waistcoat on and porkpie hat looks more like a pissed up tramp or an angry farmer . I wouldn't trust him with any of those weapons.
Mind you looking at em I wouldn't trust any of them they look like a really **** version of the Village People.

about 5 years ago I sold all 9 carded A-Team figures. Wish I hadnt now. They were is good condition.
