...and by that i mean the 1980's toys, not electrical transformers :?

I have a Soundwave soap which is sealed in the box if anyone wants to make me an offer. Had it years and not sure where it came from. Probably should go to a good home.

PM me if you are interested.

Cheers

I don't really "collect" any other toy-lines, mainly for lack of room, i've only got space enough for one collection but i do have several bits and pieces from other lines including 4 Transformers reissues which are exact copies of the originals and look awesome. The originals cost hundreds and are pretty hard to find.
I know Vader's Child had a few boxed originals for sale (prices range form 700 up).

Really? So much. That's amazing.

Transformers were the toys i loved almost as much as Star Wars when i was a kid ..and that was A LOT!

I wonder what my soap is worth? Need to take a picture of it.

They can be. These are really mint examples of the more popular ones. You can get loose ones for 15-20 quid or those mini ones can be picked up for just a few quid.
A mint boxed example is gonna set you back tho. I can't speak highly enough of the reissues i bought. They weren't cheap themselves at 40-50 quid a go but they really are excellent. ONly experts can actually tell the difference between these and the originals. 8)

I saw some new transformers that looked really awesome. Haven't seen reissues though. So these are faithful to the original Transformers? They were the best. The one i always wanted was Starscream.

Takara produced the first transformers in Japan in '84-'85 I think. The majority of re-issues are produced by Takara anyway. They are really awesome either way. I have some nice boxed examples of both

The prime is the real thing. MIB, unused sticker, untouched weapons, the works.
The Megatron, is an Takara re-issue.

BTW, I have a mint re-issue starscream, with unused stickers, unpoped weapons. A Fantastic example that could be prised away from me at the right price

Not sure about your soap though :(

Yeah almost identical. They are made by Hasbro to the original specs, figure, weapons, stickers, inserts, box everything.
Here's my mini collection.

Last year I had a load up for trade on here Optimus, Galvatron, Ultra Magnus,Grimlock, Sludge,Soundwave got no interrst from anyone for em. Had to resort to the Bay in the end. Still have a few nice ones though

Yes! :D

I tell you what, that Megatron is amazing 8) And those reissues are superb. Just like the originals. I couldn't get into another collection but now and again the odd item crops up that's interesting (like the footy '86 sticker album i have my eye on). PM me about the Starscream

..and you know you want my Soundwave soap. I'll post a picture when i get into the attic.

What were the names of the cassettes that went into Soundwave?

Ravage was the panther. Lazerbeak was the hawk. They were the 2 main ones but i think there were about 8 in all.

To be fair Ravage was the coolest cassette. My friend had him and i was super jealous, especially as the bastard wouldn't swap for my mini orange truck guy. Don't know his name :p

Huffer. Is that him? A truck with chrome exhausts that turn into arms, and the cab folds forward making him look like a kid pulling a Parker jacket over their head
