Thank you! Liam :)

I reckon that the Ben, Darth, Leia and Tie Fighter have to be worth about £25.00 each just for the value of the loose alone (providing they dont have repro weapons)

The Wicket, Logray, Pruneface and AT-AT Commander are probably worth about £15.00 each and I have now idea with the modern - maybe a couple of quid ?

So I reckon all in about £140 ?

Hey Liam

I've enquired about the Palitoy Ben and Leia. They are sealed but have the top of the bubble sliced open.

I was going to bid until I found out the bubbles were opened,

I'd say Leia around £25-30
Ben £30-35
but reseals or sliced bubbles can be hard to predict

Here you go Liam

Thanks Iain! Nope I didnt come away with a single lot. Outbid by £5 on 7 ****in Lots! :x Any plenty more fish in the sea :)

So with this at an auction then ?

The wicket is a repro card too by the way. That's no Sun fading. I know because a friend went to view this lot

You guys wouldn't understand- you weren't there man!!!!!

Ahem. I have spent two days at that auction, viewing on Thursday and bidding on Friday. There was some great stuff, I photographed every lot so I can upload these I required.

I was so excited about the two palitoys, I was prepared to go high on those... Almost fell over when I saw the bubbles has been "scalped". I still bid £100 as they both display nicely and- it's Ben!! Got to be one of the toughest to find 12 backs. Unpunched too :)

The weapons lot went crazy- probably 300-400 weapons, nothing particularly rare- the best was a lummat bow. at least 20% of them were repro and there were quite a few with broken straps etc. They sold for a quite incredible £310 plus commission (20%)

The Vc jawa pictured was fake...... The colour and cut were good but not cross hatching and it was waaaay to thick. The buyer was convinced it's the real deal

Of the figure lots there were two great lots-
First up Amanaman, barada, ev9d9, pop up r2, luke poncho and the four last 17 ewoks. I was buying to sell- so I went to £160-170, the buyer paid about £220 (plus commission!!)
The other niiiiiice figure lot was a minty mint minto Yak face and an excellent blue snag with only two microscopic paint rubs on the feet. I really wanted them! Again I went to £200 an they sold for £230.

I did buy some great stuff though- so it was worth it. I thought I stood a chance of a bargain but when it turned up on the saleroom I was a little worried. Luckily the auction house did a fairly terrible job of cataloguing.

WOW Edd! I wish it had been a bit closer now! The pics from the auction house where ****. :( and they only uploaded the catolgue only a day before the auction. and catolgued it really poorly. One other thing I also noticed is they called it a "General Sale" and not a "Toy Auction". Which seemed a bit strange. :?

I picked up a reseal Palitoy Diecast Tie Fighter for £22 of ebay, but i think that was a good deal as they go for £15-£25 loose.

Woooooaaaaa wtf is going on here £200 for the Ben and the Leia sat at £175.
Any of you lads that went to the auction know what this.particular lot fetched??? Be interesting to find out.
I stupidly thought the Ben would fetch around the £50 mark

The lot of "carded" figures sold for £110 plus commission.
That's the leia and ben, german at at driver, (all with opened bubbles)
Also included fully sealed prune face, logray and two shadows of the empire figures.

Have you got a link to the eBay auctions Lee?
