Check this out guys - April fools day is has past mate.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Star-Wars-Vintage-SUPER-RARE-HAMMERHEAD-PALITOY-79bk-TRI-LOGO-HYBRID-/290894390126?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigures_JN&hash=item43baa8236e

I saw that this morning and almost hit the BIN before reading the description!!!

£500 for a loose hammerhead and a cardback with bubble. WTF?

I like his comment that says if this was unopened it would be worth a thousand plus! So would a vc Jawa and a Pali chewy.

In his defence his listing does say this:-

"If this was unopened it could be a thousand plus, high BIN price as not sure of it's value but will listen to offers...."

:)

I've purchased items from this seller in the past, he seems genuine and has been up for deals.

But seeing this auction, I agree WTF!!!

It caught attention of people and I feel that was his point. They have the "make a offer" button for a reason

His Ebay feedback is amazing too!

To be fair i've seen sealed examples of this combo go for £14-1500. 500 is a bit rich tho for an opened one.

I have dealt with this seller plenty of times before both buying and selling and he is a good bloke

Pete is right - this is a very tough card to find (I really need this one as well Lee :D ) and is worth at least £750 sealed. Trouble is, really all you have is a nice card back, bubble and figure - for me you are probably looking at £30 tops

When did this figure become so pricey?

With it being one of the Hybrids, and one of the tougher ones to find then I think the price has just shot up - I turned down options to buy a really beat up on for £200 and a nice one for £750

I guess trilogos are increasing in popularity and so the price has shot up.

I got mine from Brian's Toys for $400 AFA75 a few years back.

I've noticed even the more regular ones are lot pricier than before
