Sadly, I was forwarded these pictures from a buyer today in France :(
Anyone that has brought from me in the past knows how well I secure items for their journeys, but sadly, some of these items are becoming too fragile to risk being posted from this side of the world to the next.

Ironically, this was the last AFA graded MOC I had to post because I no longer have any desire to obtain graded MOC's. Although yes, I did send this via the GSP, and we've all herd the horror stories about how badly they can repackage an item when forwarding them on... but I can't help think that the weight of these items when cased in acrylic are making them too heavy for posting. I know yellow bubbles are a risk in themselves for posting, but adding the weight of a case now makes them a big liability for this sort of thing to happen.

Oh sorry to see this. Happened to me on the Jedi cards a lot recently, the bubbles are so brittle. It must have taken some wack for that to happen. :(

The ones I had damaged were ungraded though.

Never nice to see a MOC die like that.
That is one massive draw back to graded MOC's you can't really put any support round the bubble when you post them.

Sorry to hear this, gutting to see any MOC damaged even a madine  (sorry I hare diffusing a tense situation with humor can help).

I personally won't buy graded MOC's for this reason, the bubbles are so dam fragile on some it's not worth the risk on them in the post, as has been said inside that acrylic tomb there's nothing to stop the figure violently bashing against the fragile bubbles, it's a risk I just don't take, luckily I only have 1 graded MOC, I only buy ungraded as I would be laying egg's the entire time it's in the post, sad sad picture to look at :|

Absolute nightmare, im always nervous sending MOC, hence why i dont have any now apart from a few klaatu skiff pieces.

claiming is a nightmare as they wont accept the bubble was fit for travel most of the time :(

I thought I'd update everybody on this case. The GSP DID fully refund me and the buyer.
I know the GSP can sometimes have a bad image for their hefty import charges, but in this case it was hassle free obtaining the refunds.
