Was it the entire collection stolen?

That must have taken ages, so must have been a planned one where they knew exactly what they were going for.

When my flat was broken into they were in very quickly, took whatever valuable where near to hand...mainly a laptop and were gone in minutes

The thieves that took mine used the duvet in the room the collection was in - chucked it all on the bed, wrapped it up like a swag bag and ran off. But it was "only" 70ish MOCs, so possible to do in a couple of minutes.

I got 10 of the 70 back five years later thanks to Joe who spotted one for sale on eBay!

I want to get in contact with him, get him on the podcast allow him to talk about some of it and try to help get some of it back with the help of our listeners.

This is sad to see and the worst thing is theirs a good chance the thief is someone he knows.

Hope the guy can move forward while staying in the hobby and still enjoy collecting in the future.

Think I would struggle.

I got very lucky myself back in 2004 when I was burgled one Friday night. Took everything that wasn't nailed down, but left this completely untouched despite being openly on display.

I remember being most pissed off at losing my San Andreas save file (could you not just have left the memory card you ****s?). Would have been inconsolable if I'd lost this lot too.

Sorry to hear that mate, I am glad to read he did not take your star wars collection. Looks great and love how you display it 8)
