First of all I like to thank everyone for there emails, pm's replies and all the help that I have got from all of you! It reall means a lot! I really appreciate it all! Thank you so much!
I have no words to describe how I feel. Not just my SW collection is gone, but most of our things. Some really personal things that have no value to someone else at all.
The idea of someone just coming into your home and doing whatever they like, really make me sick to my stomach!!
I really don't want to be another min in our house. I just want to move and start over again. This is a horrible feeling!
What happend..
They broke in yesterday afternoon. Most of our things where packed in boxes because we are going to move house real soon.
They stole all electronic devices like laptops, desktop, tablets, ipods, blu ray players, tv's, camera and such that where not packed. They took all cash and jewels and all boxes that where packed.
They did this in broad daylight and the one neighbour that was home thought we where moving, so nobody called the police. They just loaded everything thing in a van and drove off. :evil:
All my pics of the AFA labels and my collection are on the desktop and on a SD card that is in the cardholder they took. I have no back up at all. Not just my collection pics but our wedding photo's aswell.
They took some things that are really personal and have no value at all, like all those SD cards.
I'm really hart broken about this. There is no way to replace them!
I had most of my collection stored away in a storage we leased. The lease was ending and we decided not to ad another 6 month to the lease so I just collected everything about a week ago.
All option are open to the police at tis time, but it seems to be just very bad luck and timing.
I still had a few things on display in one of my display cases and they didn't even touch it. All SW related things they stole where wrapped in boxed. So it seems thet where just regular burglars and not out for just my SW collection.
The bad thing about that is, there is a big chance they will just throw it away as it will be to hard to sell for them. :shock:
Where things stand at the moment...
We have had contact with most dutch SW dealers here in the Netherlands. I contacted UKG, and an email was sent to Toygrader. To look out if anything will be resubmitted for grading.
You guys have also been a great help, with more and more people knowing about this, it will be very hard for them to sell it, so thank you so much for that.
At this time there isn't a whole lot more we can do but wait and see if some of the items will come up for sale.
As far as collecting goes, I will probably start over again when we have moved house. I will just start with collecting loose figures. Most of the collection wasn't insured because of the move to the new house.So fin collecting anything else than loose figs is out of the question.
And even though the police say it was just bad timing, I don't want a collection with a big price tag on it anymore. I know I shouldn't be scared to collect what I want, but to be honest I am very scared at the moment.
Maybe this will change in the future....
But for now, I just really hope they catch them! Would make sleep a whole lot better!

what an awful experience to have to go through. I really hope you are able to recover some of these personal items as like you say they cannot be replaced
