Looks a lot for an unboxed Jabba

I like the 126 bids as well !!

Something very fishy going on here. Only two people bidding. Hmm. I bought mine boxed a couple of months back for 30 quid. This one is loose and damaged. I smell BS. :?

The bidder with 38 feedback has used some software to bid the price up by a penny a go over the space of a few minutes. I would say they were using the software for the first time and didn't make a very good job of configuring it.

Then another bidder with 3 feedback bids it up by 2 quid a go over the space of a day or so, I would suspect shill bidding by the bidder with 3 feedback. I suspect the same bit of software but slightly better configured was used for that.

The final price alone implies shill bidding. Surely no one would be stupid enough to pay that otherwise!?

Looks like he's doing it on this one too. g***g. ?

No no! The fact that g**g has 100% of his bids with this seller is just one of natures strange little coincidences.

Ha, they've ****ed that one up and outbid the real bidder. Has anyone reported this muppet to ebay yet?

Jason

Good work.
I read in the paper about a guy who did time for shill bidding last year. Made me laugh. Be a bit harsh if this guy went down tho.

This will probably be the last email I get from ebay on the matter. Best bet is to look at the offending account(s) and see if they get nuked!

-------------------

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to report a suspected case of Shill
Bidding. We take Shill Bidding very seriously and we'll investigate your
report as soon as possible, usually within 24-48 hours.

We'll look at the information you provided and compare it to our records
of bidding patterns and other activity involving the reported accounts.
We'll then take any appropriate action (such as warnings or account
suspensions) against the involved accounts to ensure eBay remains a safe
and reputable place to buy and sell.

Sometimes, what appears to be Shill Bidding may actually be legitimate.
For example, a bidder may bid almost exclusively on one or two sellers
whom they have come to trust. If we find there's not enough evidence of
Shill Bidding, we may not take action against any of the reported
accounts.

Please be aware that as it's important that eBay maintains member
privacy, we can't share details of the action we take.

We know your time is valuable and we appreciate you taking a moment to
express your concern to us. Thank you for helping to keep eBay a safe,
fun place to shop.

Regards,

eBay Trust and Safety

Lol - i think he ended up outbidding me - what a co-incidence !!

He's re-listed the Jabba set too which incriminates him further.
With a bargain ButItNow price of £75! Form an orderly queue guys...

I presume the action ebay took was to rap his knuckles and make him sell his dodgy auctions again:-
