Just sold the last of my carded figures, it's a strange feeling. I don't really miss them, it more makes me think of all the hours I put in to collecting them.

Still, I made a healthy profit on most and have always said I enjoy the collecting more than the owning. If I do start buying carded again, it will probably be a character focus. Does anyone know if there's anybody out there with a Rebel Soldier focus? If not, maybe I'll do that!

Anyway, just wanted to share that :lol: I still have my near-complete loose collection, so I'm not completely off the hook yet.

Around 20 or so! Not bad going, got near what I wanted for them. I'll have to get some more stock together for the November one, or maybe I'll take a leaf out of Lee's book and turn up with nothing, buying it all on the day :lol:

It is weird though, I'd had some of them for over 15 years. Ironically they're the ones I made no profit or a loss on, prices have gone down since then if anything!

I've sold up too. Just down to a couple of loose figures now. Kind of sad but nice to have the money Thinking of putting together a mint loose set... very slowly for maximum enjoyment.

yeah i lost the urge. I still have a fair bit left. All stuff from SW only. Sold all my ESB,ROTJ,POTF

I get terrible ups and downs whilst collecting, i sometimes think i want shot of most of my collection, then i dont, i kinda get bored and want to see some new stuff from a new focus, i nearly bought a 12 back vader, that would have sparked off a 12 back spurt.

Even my Bossk focus is boring now all im doing is buying ESB cardback variations.

Edd. i started a thread on RS a while back and got people to send me the links to their figure focus threads. I then linked them and titled them to the main post. It makes good reading and shows what figures are focused on. I know it is far from complete but may give you some inspiration.

It's quite nice to know I no longer have a cupboard full of £1000s that is doing nothing, the bad news is I've pretty much already spent all the money so not got a lot to show for it (apart from a new set of golf clubs!)

Star Wars figures will always be a passion of mine, I quite often go off it for a while so even though I've sold up I'm sure I'll stick around and start collecting again at some point.

I'm moving house in a couple of weeks which is currently taking up all my time/money. Can't wait though
