I know what I find so strange is the number of witnesses in this sighting. Also for a man who has dedicated his life to God he had nothing to gain reporting the sighting. You can watch Father William Gills interview on YouTube. I totally understand both sides of the coin in the arguments on this topic. And know how ludicrous it can come across to people. But when I read about how 'Dr. Hynek' was so sceptical of sightings in the beginning and then changed his mind after he started to really study these reports. And yes it's fair to say there still is no clear evidence. But if there was would it be made available to the Public? With a simple Google search? Once you read about the 'blue book' project you can understand how easily sightings can be debunked as advised by the US Airforce. Using the media and people in positions of influence can soon make someone look very foolish and silly if they report seeing something strange. I also understand the thinking behind this for security. But the more I look into it I have never realised how many sightings there have been. The 'blue book' also states civilian UFO hunters should be watched! So watch your back subzero  get the footage up here quick if you do get any  I have to say that do find it fascinating reading about these sightings. Heres a couple more bits I'm not sure if you've read about them before. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Air_Lines_flight_1628_incident&ved=0ahUKEwi0hKu73rvXAhVkK8AKHYdnDEEQFggmMAA&usg=AOvVaw3GfimfGgzwFDHFiJYU_ujX https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Blue_Book&ved=0ahUKEwiV4bmp2rvXAhVkJsAKHRNGAScQFghGMAQ&usg=AOvVaw3uQ0GoHLD2w6EBUkow_Xai I find your idea with the camera interesting, how did you find out about this technique? It seems similar in ways to the Spitze telescope that I have been reading about and how it works.
