Anyone got this and played it? Most Alien games are a huge let down so if you are on the fence about buying this one but are a huge fan of the first two movies then I really would recommend it (And I haven't played it!)
I was a bit curious as to whether or not this would live up to fan expectations so I started watching a guys walkthrough videos on youtube and in the end watched him play the entire game from start to finish - FANTASTIC!
It would seriously have me changing my undies more times than normal and with my little one running around I doubt I'd get much time to actually immerse myself in the story and play it but it's just an amazing looking game, a true horror survival FPS game that I doubt any fan of the Aliens franchise would have negative things to say about. It's not like the shitty marine games where you just run around blasting things, 9 times out of 10 if the Alien sees you in this game you are ****ed so it's all about hiding in lockers, under tables, using your radar and creating distractions so you can progress through the levels.
They also brought back the original cast (apart from Ash) for the special content on the X-box(?) edition which allows you to play a short mission as Ripley on the Nostromo, the full game sees you playing through as her daughter Amanda.
Cut scenes are great, story is great, characters are great, soundtrack is great, suspense is great!
10/10 for me and like I said I haven't even played it! :lol:

I didnt put any extra dlc in the xbox one either.
