AFA U95 figures

i think they look ok in the AFA boxes but i think the sellotape method of fixing the weapons in is a bit crappy.

the price you pay they should make some fancy holder to rest the weapon on or summat :)
 
The gradings seem too random for me. I have had a couple of 85 figures that look perfect to me, just as good as any 90 I owned. But I also had an 85 Hoth Snowtrooper where you could clearly see marks on the plastic torso which should have lowered the grade.

As much as I would love to own a complete set of AFA 90 or 95 figures people are paying a premium for a number on a sticker which is being determined by somebody else.
 
An 85 is supposed to be case-fresh 'near mint+'. 90's are 'mint' in my opinion not 'near mint+/mint' If its better than the average that came out of a factory case then it must be mint. Anything supposedly better than a 90 is nice to have but certainly not worth paying three times the amount for :wink:
