I have 11 AFA graded Star Wars figures that I wish to sell, is anyone interested? Looking for £35 for the AFA figures, and £45 for the three Uncirculated AFA figures. All of them are NM+

Thanks,
Zoe

Please be advised you can no longer sell U graded figures on SWF: http://starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23184

It might be an idea to take pictures of the figures you wish to sell and also provide a link to your ebay feedback (or feedback thread from any other forum where you have bought + sold)

Can anyone tell me what NM+ is? I know it will have a meaningless AFA number associated with it but I have a slightly better grasp of the numbers than I do the letters.

It will also matter greatly as to which figures you are selling as well. As Joe said, best to put some photos up. Im sure you will find interest in the graded figures here. The U grades however can't be sold here. A lot of members have strong feelings about them.

N/M (near mint) can be either 75, 80 or 85

N/M+ is either 85 or 90

I am going to speculate further that if there are a collection of afa 85/90 vintage loose figures at £35 each then the op will have received a number of pms offering to buy them as a bulk deal to be flipped on eBay.

But that's life.

I was just thinking much the same myself - Damn you lurkers!... It sounds terrible, but I tend to sell my items to forum members with at least a few posts under their belt. But as you said, that's life.

Yeah, this lurking and PMing thing is beginning to piss me off. Recently, a large load of MOCs went up for valuation. Two or three members bothered to reply and put forward suggested valuations (some more accurate than others :D). Poster then thanked those who had done and "all those that PM'd". It would appear a lot more folk were happy to put fingers on keyboards but only in order to try and get what they wanted rather than help the OP. Needless to say I then sent a PM myself as all of a sudden it fealt like open season and not doing so would have been naive. I sort of think "fair play" on a sales thread but on a valuation thread sucks a little bit. My early days on the board I may have even done it myself. Now I like to think I've picked up a little bit more board etiquette.

But like you say, Ben, such is life.

They won't have been read though:
