That's a very small tool. Still it did the job though.

It's not the weapon it's the warrior. At leasts that what I tell myself. :)

Incidentally, its not just MOCS that get the treatment. This is an old photo. I was trying to get myself a nice condition loose death star droid. Really hard to do right? Wrong, you just need to know where to look.

Received the Zuckuss today and I've immediately "de-graded" him this evening.

The Stanley knife wasn't much cop. Had a go with the scew driver which was better but sent bits pinging off round the kitchen.

So.... I took a hammer to it. Risky I know. Not for the faint hearted.

2 blows to the bottom of the case on the opposite side to the bubble, then a little more work with screwdriver and 30 second later he's out.

The TRU price stickers came straight off and a dab of lighter fulid on some cotton wool and all of the sticker residue was gone. Fixed the hanger and slide him into a GW acrylic case. Now it looks the business.

I have to say I have only tried the stanley knife method on a UKG case so perhaps AFA use different glue? Also when I did it I started with the blade through the gap at the bottom which is there for air flow. It came away so easy it was a bit worrying. I was able to sell the case on eBay after removing the stickers.
