Hi guys

After a little advice...some question over whether the pop up saber is a repro or not....what do you guys think?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Star-Wars-Last-17-R2-D2-Pop-Up-Sabre-Amazing-Condition-please-read-/221701105474?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item339e6a6742#ht_193wt_1190

Thanks in advance

Doug

Looks to be the right colour - but with six days left and already at 41 quid then I expect this will get close to 100

I thought it looked ok the original sabers are a lighter green it seems too? I have decided to fully complete my loose collection and need all of the Last 17....this could get pricey!

The sabres have certainly gone up in value lately, as per the example below...

yep looks genuine to me also,i have afa u90 pop up (I didn't send it for grading  ) but could not resist the purchase as I got I cheap, sorry guys

****ing hell, £40 for a sabre! Unfortunately the people paying these prices are the ones fuelling repro production. If you want repros to go away, we need to stop paying stupid money for mass-produced accessories.

Edd - I agree with you that it is madness - but the last two sabres I have had in have sold for around the 50 quid mark - why, beacuse the complete figure is selling for about the 100 mark and the figure without the sabre = 40-50 pounds
