I am looking at selling my collection which has sat in my parents loft for the past 25 years.

I have a catalogue of the collection but want some advice about what approach I should take with regards to selling.

Is there a shop in London I could take the catalogue to ?

I have about 40 figures, including a mint condition Yak Face with staff, stored in the limited edition Darth heads. I also have pretty much every ship with boxes like tie interceptor, slave 1, AT-AT, all the Hoth artillery and jabba band, rancour and glider.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all

Mike

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum

I wouldn't bother selling to a shop as you won't get the best price for your items, especially if you sell in bulk.
Sell them on here as it is completely free and we're all a sound bunch.
To be able to sell anything then we are going to need good pictures of your items - this is best done through photo sharing sites such as photobucket or imgur.
If you don't know how much they are worth then you can post in the valuations thread where people wil give their best opinion in price.

Also, if you have any eBay feedback then it would be advisable to post a link on here so we can see you are who you say you are!

Any more questions then just ask.

Enjoy the forum, it really is a great place

Hi Mike. Welcome to the Forum. :)
Thats sounds like a nice collection!
Why not sell them on here? Its completely free unlike ebay and you have the piece of mind that your collection will go straight to collectors who will appriecate them!
Post some Pics and a list and I am sure the guys will advice you further! :)

Liam

Edit (Nick beat me to it!)

So how does selling on here work ?

Is post and packaging paid in addition to the item sale like on eBay ? Also, is it private transactions or PayPal ?

I will definately sell on here as going to people who will appreciate them is what I want.

It depends if the buyer is local the collection in person may be possible if not postage will be needed and also overseas postage to our international members.

Yes paypal is the preffered method of payment.
Basically if you unsure of your items value post some pics if the Valuation section as Nick said and the lads will advise you further.
If you do have an idea of your items value. Post some pics and some ebay feedback and let the sale begin. :)
