Advice on Selling

Hiya. I have a fair collection of original Star Wars toys. All small UK figures, with exception of 2, multiple ships many in a box albeit broken, bedding, few box sets like tooth brushes soaps etc, stationery, books and much more. Also some of the late 90's bits, and some shop display bits from late 90's. All UK. Few sealed in a box but majority played with.

Looking really to any advice on selling. Don't really want to sell each item individually, though I guess this could be the most profitable, want it all to go to Star Wars fans. Been in boxes for years and want it to go to people that will cherish it. Equally, don't want to be short changed on the value. Not really wanting to sell but it's all in a loft, not being seen, and need the money really. Plus as I'm sure many of you face, the other half does not have the Star Wars bug

Any advice?

Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy, main advice I would give is get some pics up of your stuff so people can see, the guys on here are really helpful, there is also a valuation section where they can help you out, but if you have any carded figures let me get my mits on them :))
Good luck with your sales

Hi andy,

You might want to post something like this on the vintage chat and valuation threads. We are mainly interested in vintage stuff but there is a modern section. My advice is list all the items, take pics, post on the valuation thread and then we can give our opinion on the pieces that you have.

Hello mate, it might be worth seperating it up into similar types or era of items and posting some pictures in the valuations thread if you're not sure what it's worth. Someone will be able to give you an idea. Definitely consider selling anything vintage or of value on it's own too or sell in small lots and you'll probably get more interest. Hope this helps dude :)

Thanks for the replies. Will get some photos tomorrow of what I have, and, try and focus on what I perceive to be the rarer bits. Will take advice and separate out the non vintage items. Regards. Andy
