advice on made in mexico cards

just got a squid head on a made in mexico card and it seems rougher on front and the back is darker .are they all like this or is it a repro .it does look origanal its just the feel and colour

it looks the same with the punch its just feels a bit odd ,i,m gonna get in touch with the guy and see if he can help me out .do you know him
 
Can you post a picture of it?
You do sometimes get cards that aren't so glossy on the front (compared to Palitoys anyway). Does the bubble have a waffle pattern or has it been removed already? :lol:

Looks fine to me as well. Will it have just an LFL 1983 coo like Ledy's. I'm probably wrong. I'm out of my comfort zone with coo's and scars etc. Gustie helppppp!!!!! :lol:
 
It's all good. All Mexican cards have a dull rough texture. It should also have the small hole in the back.

guessing the same as you :)
 
It is something to do with pressure I think, either because a lot of Mexico is at high altitude or they flew a lot of these out to the US and the change in air pressure was popping the seal.
