V4 has 2 indents in one side of the handle. But, agree it looks a bit poorly demarcated in other areas. How's the drop test sound?

Gutted for your mate. Those of us lucky enough to have loose examples acquired before the fakes got better at least have references. Loose complete collecting is tricky, especially for newcomers. One of the +points for me in joining the forum is that repros (fakes) are considered undesirable here (and I think I'm phrasing it politely using the term 'undesirable').

Cheers mate, fortunately he was able to get a refund. Thanks again for your help

I agree to me it looks like a repro

100% repro I'm afraid.

There are two variants - one for the gunner and one for the a wing pilot. My experience - finding a real A wing blaster was a proper mission, which lasted 4 years. Found multiple gunner blasters within that period.

The genuine ones have very sharp details.

I wast not aware that there were A-wing pilot and Gunner specific variants. I'd be grateful for more detail on this - prob need to check mine!

Thanks mate, interesting never knew that

Gunner endor blasters are the hilt (circled below). The gunner one has an L shape as shown. I'm sure there are other indicators and probs someone on this forum much more knowledgable than me that can go into detail :-)
