Hi guys

I was always into SW as a little kid, don't remember ever having any action man figure stuff. However, I was going through some old family photos from when I was young, keeping any eye out for old toys I had (I'm a bit of a sad case like that!) - feeling all nostalgic. Anyhow, it turns out I did have at least one action man figure - got it for Christmas one year it seems. I know its a crappy photo and you can't see much of it, but I wondered if there are any Action Man afficionados who might be able to help me work out what specific figure version it was. I might then be tempted to try and track him down on ebay... Here's the only photo I have of it. (sorry its small - I cropped it from a larger photo - unfortunately there's a colouring book or something stuck on top of the box):

Thanks to any who might be able to give any help!

from the colour of the box, I'd hazard a guess at the Talking Commander. He used to have a string in his back and said various phrases - ring any bells?

I had loads of Action men as a kid - Action man, Star Wars, lego and Britains soldiers were my favourite toys.

Thanks Spoons! Doesn't ring a bell though. A friend of mine had a few AM figs, but I don't recall ever having any. Must have though as this was in the background of a family Chirstmas pic. I guess I will ask on an action man forum or something too.

Britains soldiers

???????

My big brother has been collecting them his whole life and has an astonishing collection. Makes my Star Wars collection look tiny in comparison. He also collects Militaria Medals and Models, Coins and has a Boxed Action Man collection too  I think he has turned into an obsessive hoarder and thats rich coming from me :D

Cool! 8)

You learn something new everday, some day I may even find a use for it all!

here's the german soldiers and staff car

the figs were plastic on a metal base - the new ones have plastic bases.

When i sold my toys as a kid, my dad stopped me selling all the soldiers as they may be worth something. If only I'd kept the SW and Action Man too
