Hi

For a while now i've been looking at collecting Action Force SAS figures, the originals from the early 80's. Can anyone offer advice on the line - what's rare/what I should expect to pay for loose figures?

It's just a little sideline that I wouldn't mind getting into.

Cheers

Barry

Can't help much mate. Mumbo sold of some of our Action force a little while ago, it went for bugger all on the bay but little was complete.

I usually see a bit of Action force goodness at 'Farthest From' though, Dave Tree is your man and a couple of other sellers have a bit to get rid of.

I take there will be quite a few people selling down there? Well looking forward to it :)

The thing with picking up a new line is watching out for the pitfalls. I started looking at the Action Man SAS line but it's quite expensive and the figures don't seem to have aged well. A lot of headless Action men for sale :?

As you say, Action Force don't appear to have caught on and still go for peanuts. But I do think their time will come. These are and were great toys, especially the early lines.

Would love to put together a little SAS squad. Who Dares Wins!

Don't, your making me regret the big sell off

 sore subject?

if it's not a daft question can i just ask what relation you are to Mumbo?

Come and see us at Bloodforthebaron.com, we have all the info you will ever need. There are a couple of collections that are being sold so they could be a good starting point.

Are you on about the 3 3/4 size figures? Had loads of them as a kid and loved them.

Yeh, they're the ones. Action Force = the Star Wars sized figures and Action Man are the 12" type. Played with them both as a kid but didn't have many of either.

No Mike, for the last time I will not meet you in that secluded country lane! Not even with you Action Man grip and shifty eyes
