Hi guys,

I am wanting to display my vintage loose collection and was looking at buying the IKEA Delfort glass cabinet http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10011055

I was also wanting to purchase some acrylic step rises for each shelf. Does anyone know where the best place is to buy these. Maybe something like 35cm's wide with 4 steps. Similar to what this guy has on RS http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=2538847&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=93&fpart=1#2538847

Thanks

Yeah I do and was thinking of putting in a bulk order to get them cheaper if anyone is interested?

For a nice 3 tier its usually about £9, if I can get the numbers I should be able to get them for £5

Here is where I order mine. They do seem to run out of stock quite often which can cause a delay, but at $9 a piece I don't mind. They have also been quick to reply whenever I have had questions on my order.

$9 is cheap.

It cost me that much in material to make this one, but it is polycarbonite.

Hi Dom,

Yeah I would be interested in joining in on a bulk order, my only worry is that the Delfort cabinet is 40cm wide, so I was thinking of getting an an acylic stand no less then 30cm wide. I think maybe the 23cm one may look to small in the cabinet, but I am not sure as I havent actually seen the cabinet in person yet. Do they do a wider one?

I had mine made by Oscar. It was quite cheap for the tiers but shipping was a killer.

Recently i have bought all of my acrylic stuff from a guy in the Uk - all custom and his workmanship is very good. I started a thread over in the ebay listings section as i found him on ebay. LInk below:

Definately worth sending him an email.

no Dom, those are too deep for my cabinet!
Are you using detolf cabinets? They do custom stuff too. Would probably be cheaper than importing from the states

Brought all my acrylic stuff from Display Products UK not quite as large as the other ones mentioned but still a decent size at 200mm x 200mm x 200mm with 66mm x 66mm steps not badly priced either IMO and prices just go down more you order

This is how have mine setup I have 3 stands per shelf but think can see all the figures nicely :)

Hiya mate, I'm looking to pick up some of those glass cabinets from Ikea in the next few weeks and I'd be interested in buying some risers. Let me know by pm if you wanna do a bulk order.

Thanks

Stu
