A proud day!

Chris congratulations mate, I'm really chuffed for you.
I totally agree with the others, to own a ESB Fett is one thing, to own your one is something else, to get it listed like that is unimaginable.
I've never really checked out that site before. I'll have to have a look.

Congrats Chris, it is a great piece and deserves it's spot in the archive :)
I was quite proud when my Deathstar made it here: http://www.toltoys.com/?s=New+Zealand+Death+star

I also enjoyed a look round the site too.

Congrats Chris.

However the 12" figures are what interest me the most and they aren't very well represented on the site. They only list 3 Denys Fisher figures for starters. Does that mean they'd like some pictures to complete the archive? Should I offer that if it's the case? Sorry for my ignorance, I've no idea how it works.

Again, that is an amazing piece and congrats on the write up on the archive. That most certainly belongs on the site.

I was trying to look back on what I'd call a proud day in my collecting. I certainly have more than one, but probably one of the biggest was the day I completed my coin set. It took me several years, lots of payment plans, and dedication for me to put that set together. My goal was to finish it in 2010 and it was the last month with one coin short. I thought for sure it'd have to be put off until 2011 and then mid December that final coin showed up for sale allowing me to meet my goal.

Chris,

How come your other items aren't on the site?

I'm think the QC 3 Pack, 3 Pack prototypes, POTF artwork?

Seems to me that your whole collection should be on there.

Hey Grant, in fact a few of them are up on the SWCA but they are not necessarily attributed to me. They are attributed to previous owners of the pieces. Mike did mention that he hope to get round to updating this info. but is currently priortising new finds so to speak. Here are a couple of other items with entries that I currently own.

Kenner Employee Prototype 3 Pack with Black Bar

Canadian Imperial Forces (Set at the bottom)

"Force Forever" Logo Concept (Bottom Left)

White Engineering Pilot Test Package Rebel Set (I own the twin of the set that is featured)
http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=48694

I hope Mike will add the QC Bespin Set 3 pack as it is not currently listed on the SWCA.

In response to Andy - You old charmer you. You always know just what to say. Im glad you approve. Thanks mate.

Dr Pittenstein - I guess there is no harm in trying. Like I say, Mike is looking to do updates so he may look into putting up some more 12" items. Im a little surprised there are only three on there too. I thought Lee Bullock's limelight would be all over it!

Thanks Grant. Youre a good man. 8)

Congrats Chris, you must be well chuffed. It certainly is a very cool piece and I agree with others on here that you have a few pieces that would equally deserve to be in there.

Well done mate, Ryan

Well done Chris.Im on the archive with some of my old Lando Skiff collection.I was actually told by someone that i had the best ever run at one time of Lando Skiff proofs and cromalins, which are featured on the archive.I only had one Lando Skiff head pull test shot which also made it on there.

Indeed you are Lee, unfortunate that you split those up, the Cromalin ended up with Mats in Sweden I think so if you were to buy it back from him now it would cost you your house, first born and your sports car no doubt :)

Wow lee what a cracking run! I bet it was hard to say goodbye to those pieces? Thanks also to Joe for posting the link. Awesome stuff!

Thanks also to Mark. I don't know for sure buddy but I am quietly confident that it is a one of a kind. In all honesty I don't know of any other fett qc sample mocs. If anyone else does, please do let me know.

Chris.

Yeah Chris,start a Fett focus :D

Thanks for the link Joe,it brings back memories. Thanks for the kind words Chris.

I know Mats ended up with the uncut POTF proof, and i also remember he had it for sale a while back for $2000 IIRC.The ROTJ emp offer cromalin was THE only existing Lando Skuff ROTJ cromalin in existence as far as myself and a few .others are aware.Unfortunately my ex wife cost me my whole collection including these, and the prices i sold them for in 2004/2005 will make your eyes water-

POTF uncut proof $500
Emp offer cromalin $450
Jedi proof 200
Palitoy unused backer $150

Beleive me-it still hurts!
