Hi Guys, I have had many proud days since I started collecting and today is certainly one of those days. This morning I was contacted by Mike Mensinger to say that he has just put my QC Sample Boba Fett Moc up on the SWCA.

For me, and for many others Im sure; the SWCA has been the gift that keeps on giving. I love trawling through the pages looking at all the amazing entries. I never thought that one day I would have an entry on there of my own. I must say a huge thank you to Mike for taking the time to do it. Here it is:

*I would also like to use this thread for people to post their "Proudest Collecting Moments"

All the best, Chris. 8)

A proud collecting day indeed Chris, great to see your Fett appearing on the archive!

It's a quality piece. I'd be happy with just an ESB fett.

Not sure what would be my own personal proud day.

I guess getting all the great feedback I got when I first published my collection here.

I do remember speaking to you at FF2 Chris, and you have a beautiful articulated and strident speech about taking a break from collecting.

What a massive lie

Well done Chris, I'm amazed they've not got more of your stuff on there :)

I've got a few Han Hoths on there (nothing as nice as your QC Fett) and I know its a good feeling to see part of your collection as part of the archive

A fantatsic result and I guess his price just "rocketed" excuse the pun!

But hold the phones... It says Country: United States!

I hope this is referring to it's origin not its current location?

It needs clarification.

Chris,

Don't forget your SWFUK roots.

Now you've joined the limousine riding, jet flying, vintage Star Wars collecting illuminate, you might have success go to your head.

Look at Michael Jackson, look what happened to Metallicas songwriting post success.

Just saying- if you start spending loads of money snorting lines of crushed vintage Star Wars candy, this could be where it started.

Make the right decision. Remember your roots man.

Thanks alot Joe.

Grant - Honestly I meant what I said. I am going to take a break. I never really intended on buying anything, let alone this. It was just too good to pass up. You know how it is. I am taking a break though I promise. P.S. I think I was in the numbers who was bigging up your collection when you posted pics. It truly is an awesome sight. I sometimes wonder what would happen if yours and Todd's collection got together and had a collective lovechild. That would be some pretty all encompassing ****.

Spoons - Andy its been a while since Ive seen you post. Good to see you buddy and Im not surprised some of your Han hoth items feature on the archive. That is one cool focus and years of dedication. It is certainly weird seeing it up there.

Lee - I love it! ToysRGus.. that is going quite a way back now. I wish it could have stayed as that as it is a cool name but I guess the SWCA is more fitting as it has been opened out and envelopes other people's contributions.

Thanks to Chris and Lars.

Bram - You are absolutely right mate. Plus the date is listed as 1977. I will see if Mike can change these details.

Grant again - Ill never forget my roots mate. Always been an SWFUKER! Always will be. Right, Im off to snort a fetting big line!

Chris.

Chris! A Huge Congreats mate You must stoked I know I would be! 8)

I think you are the First guy from SWFUK to be on the Archive!

Well Done mate Its a special piece for sure 8)

You must be totally thrilled Chris, first the high of actually getting such a bloody great grail item & now this, talk about icing on the cake, really pleased for you buddy.

Think my only proud moment would be that Joe kindly put my tri logo miss card on his site, though I can't find it on the to save my life  I am sure Joe will guide me at some point.

Thanks JC. Hope to see you at the next Farthest From event when its announced.

Chris,

How come your other items aren't on the site?

I'm think the QC 3 Pack, 3 Pack prototypes, POTF artwork?

Seems to me that your whole collection should be on there.

Good point Grant, I was thinking the same thing.

Congratulations Chris on a cracking piece. Getting it on the SWCA is the cherry on the top. Does this mean that mooching about BP Fair is below you now
