A Palitoy question

First of all: Been gone much too long, but fear not, I was only taking a break, I'll be back stronger than ever. :lol:

Now a serious question: I have just found a CD with pics my parents scanned for me a couple of years ago. I was looking through them and once again looked with much joy at the pics of me with SW toys. I have looked at them close by the time I joined this forum, but I didn't know much at that time. My eyes are now sharpened for a lot of details. When I looked at the pics again today, I noticed 2 things:

1) I really ripped that box apart (see below). But back then I didn't care about the boxes, they would fly into the trash anyhow...
2) As most of you will know, I live and grew up in Germany. My parents didn't travel to the UK at that time, but they would go to the Netherlands and Belgium frequently.

Finally to the question:
The MTV I unpacked was in a Palitoy box? I spotted 2 Palitoy logos. Did they sell these in Germany???
There is a small chance that my parents picked it up in Netherlands or Belgium, but I would assume they bought it in a store in Germany.
This is probably common knowledge, so please excuse me if I am asking stupid questions.

I have Palitoy cardbacks with German price stickers on, so Palitoy stuff was sold in Germany.

As mentioned by others, but figures and vehicles from Palitoy and other channels within the General Mills group were sold in Germany.
