a definitive list

any of you guys got a link to a definitive list of vintage figures in order of release? alot of sites i have found have figures in different order mainly the esb line.

Rebel Scum has a great list of each vintage figure release. I'm pretty sure it's all in correct order of release with those release at the same time in alphabetical order.
Check it out. This taught me quite a lot of the basics. They also have similar pages/lists of ships, creatures, modern etc etc.

ha ha that list is what i based my database on initially I just went on wikipedia earlier which made me question it as its release list of figures is different. i should never trust wikipedia i guess

A figures appearance on cardbacks is the easiest way to determine when they were released. This is especially true for different countries, as not all figures came out at the same time (eg in the USA Boba Fett appeared as part of the first 21 SW figures, but in the UK he wasn't released until mid-way through the ESB line.)

I also use the ID Number in the top left hand corner of cardbacks to get a rough idea on which fig was produced first.
