A big dilemma

hi everyone,

I have a full set of the 1977 - 85 moc figures , excluding the vinyl caped Jawa , and Yak face . However I would like to upgrade some of my figures . Either get graded 12 back ones or a good Boba . With this in mind I was thinking of selling or trading my last 17 Collection , to which I have 16 , which are a mixture of POTF and tri logo .

Any views , incase I regret it

I take it you're talking MOCs? Now is just about the worst time in history to buy 12 backs, especially graded ones. IMO the prices are madly inflated at the moment and although there's no guarantee they'll ever go down again, I don't see how it's sustainable as there are hundreds/thousands of them out there (even the VCJ.) So once all these morons with more money than sense that have hit the hobby recently get bored and buy motorbikes, hopefully prices will return to normal.

I've been keeping a close eye on tri-logos recently and apart from Yak Face, none of the last 17 are selling for crazy amounts of money, you'd have to sell all of them to buy one or two AFA 85 12 backs. So no, IMO it's not worth it.

Edd is right - this is a terrible time to buying - prices are almost double what they were a year ago. Still the same can be said for a lot of things - and with the new films due it doesn't look like it will be stopping anytime soon

They are.

But motorbikes are quite affordable. So maybe Edd's prediction will come true soon!! :lol:

The condition of my figures is mixed , I have 3 reseals , 5 missing their pop's and about 3 in pretty crap condition in relation to the cards and bubble. The rest are in good to excellent condition. I have one graded 75 12 back Chewbacca , and another 5 12 backs that I could get graded , the others would grade that well . I have also got 6 20/ 21 backs , 15 ESB cards and the rest Jedi , tri logo and potf , which there are graded amanaman 85 , a wing pilot 80 , R2D2 with sabre 70 and luke stormtrooper 60 .
