8D8 Pre production

I think by now anyone registered on here would have told me if they had any but it's worth a shot-

I am looking for the following:

• First Shot (non production colours)
  Hand painted protomold
  Blue Harvest 2-Up
  POTF Proof or Cromalin

If you perhaps know of some friends that deal in protos/pre production items that may have some contacts etc- just send them my details please, every little bit of digging helps

Here you go guys:

Basically - of all the figures produced, 8D8 and EV9D9 were initially made at a much larger scale (2 times the normal size hence "2-UP")

The reason was because of the intricate detail on the figures body/legs, if you pick up either figure you will see what I mean.

So the original hardcopy 2-UP which thankfully survived looks like this - http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=53050

It's incredibly detailed and also hand painted like the production figure.

This is where it get's interesting, in the early 90's there were some knock off figures made from original silicon molds of the above, they were cast in blue (a colour Kenner did not use for their prototypes until 1989 at least so therefore these are not true "Vintage" pieces)

While these are not real prototypes/pre production pieces, they are as detailed as the original 2-UP hardcopy and are twice the size of a normal figure so quite striking on display. I know there are a handful out there but for the longest time one hasn't appeared for sale!

Ed - Yes unfortunately I have that proof already

I just need the POTF proof or cromalin really, the ROTJ run is pretty much all mine- I have the common 77 *like the one linked, a 77 uncut, 79 uncut and the ROTJ cromalin.
