Hi all, I have recently received a moc 77 back darth vader-made in mexico
However, on close inspection, the bubble is sealed but does 'not' have the waffle glue type effect.
Is this the way they are or could it be a re seal?
Kind regards
Darren

Recently picked up a Gam Guard and had the same worries - happy to put your mind at rest

Not having a waffle pattern isn't something to be concerned about :D

There are some interesting differences with "made in Mexico" that I love, some things might only apply to Gam Guard -

Smaller bubble, really tight fit, different plastic, doesn't seem to yellow as quick, bubble on a wee bit squint, and my favourite - the whole in the back of the cardback to let the smoke out generated during the sealing process (no waffle pattern)

DISCLAIMER - I am no expert so I could be talking **** :D

Will go fined the link to the website I used to compare my figure

Cheers matey, much appreciated.
The sealing is perfect around the bubble, card is old. Doesn't look like it has been resealed at all. Just the fact it has no waffle glue mark around it.
Best to ask the experts :)

What you have described is typical of MIM (Made In Mexico) moc's. The back of the card usually has a matt finish & darker colours when compared to other Kenner cards. The hole in the back may or may not be present.
The figures will be Lili Ledy, but the accessories can be Kenner or Ledy. With the Vader, look for a thicker than normal tip to the saber.
There are 13 different characters documented on Kenner MIM cards.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the superb detailed info! Such a reassurance.
The back of the card looks dull, dark and aged, compared to others. it has a small hole at the back going into the bubble, the sabre looks slightly thinker than a standard tip also.
Thanks again for your guidance!
:D
