Lego! :roll: you sad twat!

For all the lego haters out there... I used to collect the SW lego a few years back. Didn't have everything released but had most of it at one stage. I stuck it all on ebay. Did it sell? Is it collectable? Is there people who like lego out there?
The £1300 tv I bought with the funds says Lego rocks!


of course 2 years later same tv is worth about £400

Lego is cool Josh, When I was a kid i had several Lego castles and i was also into technical Lego. I had the Lego chassis of a car which had 4 moving pistons, individual rear suspension and working steering and movable seats. It was very cool at the time.
i also had the pneumatic excavator where you had to cut all the air pipes by hand to the correct sized so the pneumatic arm would work.
Brilliant toys mate.

It must have rubbed of on my son because he has the Millennium Falcon and a few other pieces, I had to help him build all the vehicles.
The falcon had over 1000 pieces if i remember correctly.
Excellent fun mate.

Yeah I love the stuff guys!When my son was born it was the perfect excuse to ring up the grandmother and get her to send it all back over to me!I went through it all and made everything up I could remember having when I was younger!This site is great for that if you ever need to do the same it has instructions and inventories for every set just about http://www.peeron.com/!
I had the same excavator Grant I think but for some reason I gave it to one of my mates back then after owning it for a couple of years DOH!I have got that car you are talking about though,picked it up off ebay for about $25 dollars yeehah!
I have been picking up the Star Wars stuff, mostly the newer sets, as they have come out!The hyper drive booster ring with Obi wans fighter isnt a bad build and takes a little while to make even though it isnt a huge set!
PhantomShadow, yeah TV's dont hold there value like lego does thats for sure LOL!
I reckon I have about 50kg of the stuff now LOL,it consists of mostly vintage Castle and Pirates and of course a heap of Star Wars sets also!
I will post some pics of the SW stuff I have later !

Hi Josh,

The Lego Chassis was set 8860 i think.
I just found one on ebay in a MISB for $600. If it had been $200 i might have bought it again just to build it.
