40TH BIRTHDAY HELP - STORMTROOPER GOODIES

Help needed PLEASE !!!!

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me but I'm out on a limb here so could do with any advice possible.
My husband is a massive Star Wars fan and has a big birthday approaching soon . I would love to buy him a SW related pressie but just don't know where to start!
I obviously don't want to tell him about my plan but I have no idea what small items he already has ( as I think he buys some in secret the sneaky thing).
I do know he has a lot of small figures, past and present, so was wondering if anyone could think of anything that I could get him. He does have a soft spot for Storm Troopers and whilst we were in USA recently he saw some really large figures ( poss 30+ inches). Does anyone know if these are available in the UK ? . If not, any non specific ideas that anyone has would be VERY much appreciated !! I have a budget of about £100 if that helps?

Hi,

The 31" figures you are referring to are available from Amazon. I've seen them on sale in France. They're about £45. The 31" Vader was available in
Wilkinson's for £12.50 recently. Check out the for sale section for other ideas.

Hey, the giant Stormtrooper you probably saw is the "Gentle Giant Stormtrooper". They are exact (licenced) replicas of the 3.75inch vintage Stormtrooper action figures only giant! You can get them in the UK but not as easily. icfciain on here may have one or you may find one on ebay. Between 80 and 100 quid i'd guess is at least what you'll pay.

Thank you all soooo much - You've given me some great advice and I really do wish now that I'd paid more attention to his interest as it would have made life a lot easier.
I do remember pointing a figure out to him ( in the name of research) and he told me it wasn't the right one as it was a Clone trooper and not a Storm trooper .... silly me not knowing the difference !!!
