The US Kenner 31 back is very tough, but I have a Canadian 31 back. Still desirable, but apparently more common. Not sure how desirable it would be if it were a Palitoy.
He's a nice enough guy. I had to go through him to re-obtain my Canadian 12 back GDE DS Commander in the early summer, so he's also a top notch seller, as he packs quickly and well, and stays in touch throughout the delivery process.
What I don't like is his habitual flipping of items, and anything that doesn't present as an AFA80 or better, he unloads at still high prices but with all kinds of demeaning things to say about the condition. Something that looks beautiful, but has that tiny crack that drops it to an AFA70, for example, becomes "pure trash" in his eyes. No respect for the item - only the value it holds.
I had a bid on this, in fact it sold for only a few dollars more than my maximum bid, gutted I missd out on it, but as said before I think that it was still a good price for a hard to find item
Well I paid $270 for an AFA 70 31 Kenner Bossk in late 2007. I had been looking for one for around 5 years :!: Just kept seeing 32 backs :!:
A real nice example today would prob command in the high hundreds of dollars and it wouldn't surprise me if a top US dealer would ask over $1000 :!:
Ha :!: I had more trouble finding my Kenner 31 when I was after Kenner than my Palitoy 30 back (which is in a diff league of rarity as someone asked earlier).
Final frontier toys had one this year with an overall grade of 85 and two subs of 90. I think it was around 2500 I nearly pulled the trigger but delayed and missed the boat. Totally regret it now but nevermind.
