Hi guys,

I was just taking another look at my ESB 21 back Secret Action Figure Power Droid Proof Card and it seems that it is printed on a matte finish as opposed to the ESB 45 back Display Arena Proof Card which is a glossy finish.

I know that the finish is due to the card and not fading or degradation so my questions are:

On the proof card is this just the type of card they used as in matte vs gloss?

Are the 21 back SW or ESB Secret Action Figure Production cards a matte finish also or is it a mixture?

Any help would be great!

Cheers,

Bram

All the proofs i have hold in my hands have never been like any production cards.

Made in Spain ROTJ Cantina cards are the closest to a proof back i have come across . I just got a 65back proofs and the color on both front and back are difrent from all the other 10 ROTJ 65 back proof i have had in my hands .

Even the printing on the back is difrent , normaly there are a littel scar over one of the figz on the back . And this error is not on the back of this one .

But as always with stuff like this , you buy the seller more then the proof. Wich means that you have to trust the seller to buy stuff like this .

Also on the 20 Revenge proofs i have had i have seen many printing errors . remeber that proofs where just stuff used in a working proces . And not ment to be saved .

Thanks Soren, much appreciated.

Do you have any Secret Action Figure Proofs? If so, are they a matte or gloss finish?

I know it has nothing to do with anything like sun exposure or degradation. I think the consensus is that it was simply the way the cards were printed. Pre-production is pre-production.

If anyone has any Secret Action Figure Production MOC Figures could you chime in and let me know?

Thanks.
